Bonfire by the pond 

We have a fire pit and you can buy firewood from us. Enjoy a quiet evening by the fire and watch the sun go down.

Popcorn, bread and bonfire 

Popcorn, bread and bonfire Make podcorn on a fire or make twist bread over a fire. You can buy both popcorn and dough for bread from us.

Homemade breakfast

Breakfast consists of home-baked bread, cheese, ham, eggs. Of course coffee and tea. If you want a gluten-free breakfast, please let us know.

Homemade vegetables

ln summer and autumn , you are welcome to harvest vegetables from our greenhouses and kitchen garden.

Fish in the pond 

You are welcome to fish in our pond all year round. If you don't have a fishing rod, you can borrow one from us. 

Buy beer and wine

It is possible to buy beer and water with your food. In the summer you can enjoy food and wine by our pond.

SleepOrup all year round

Spring

If you visit us in spring, you will see lots of activity in our large garden. We are usually busy on the farm as early as March. We tidy up our big property after a long winter, clean greenhouses, and prepare our beautiful flower garden for new flowers to be sown. Our online shop is also busy in the first months of the year as we ship seeds all over the EU.
You will notice our small pond coming to life after the winter. From April, frogs start croaking, and birds sing from early morning. The fruit trees along the pond will bloom from late April, creating a stunning sight.
Our hens begin laying their first eggs in April, after taking a break from laying during the winter. 

Summer

During summer, you will see many of our employees working around the farm. We water and tend to our flower garden and greenhouses. You will find flower bouquets in most rooms, and you are welcome to pick your own flowers or harvest vegetables for your meals.
We host an open house event once a month for our customers, so you may see visitors on the farm. We mow the lawn once a week, but we also leave some areas untouched to benefit bees and other pollinating insects.
Throughout the summer, guests are welcome to harvest pears and apples from our trees—completely free of charge. 

Autumn

Autumn at SleepOrup is full of beautiful colors. The leaves on the trees turn golden, and you can harvest both walnuts and hazelnuts on the farm.
During autumn, we are busy preparing the garden for the winter season. You will see us and our staff clearing flower beds and planting bulbs that will bloom beautifully next summer.
In our online shop, we sell flower bulbs in autumn, and we also welcome visitors to the farm for workshops during this season. 

Winter

Winter in Denmark is dark! At this time of year, it gets dark as early as 4 PM. In recent years, snow has become common in the second half of November and sometimes in December.
There isn't much happening in our garden during winter, but our online shop is busy as we prepare new products for the upcoming season, which starts right after New Year.
If you visit us in winter, you can take a beautiful walk around our pond.
