Sights in South Zealand

Camp Adventure - Skovtårnet
The world-famous forest tower in Camp Adventure. The forest towers' top platform is 135 meters above sea level. This makes it the highest accessible point on Zealand. If you reach the top you can see 25 km beyond the South Zealand landscape. If you look north in clear weather, you can see the Øresund Bridge, Turning Torso in Malmö and parts of the Copenhagen skyline. Skovtårnet is 10 km from Spirekassen and if you come from the motorway, you will naturally drive past there.

Rønnede Kro
Since 1825, Rønnede Kro has had a central location along the old main road, which for generations has connected the capital with southern Zealand and the islands.
Many great personalities have visited Rønnede Kro over the years. In the old guestbook, you can find greetings from, among others, well-known actors Walt Disney, Dirch Passer, Bodil Kjær and Lily Broberg. H.C. Andersen mentioned Rønnede Kro several times in his letters, as it was here that he got off the stagecoach when he had to visit the surrounding estates. Rønnede Kro today appears completely restored with respect for the inn's history and relaxed style.
In the restaurant, the flavors are the focus and the menu is created in close collaboration with local suppliers to ensure high quality. There, we place emphasis on local ingredients and seasonal dishes. For Rønnede inn, it is important to support the local economy and minimize transport distances. This helps maintain a sustainable approach to the food supply
